Manchester International Festival

Working directly to Artistic Director Alex Poots, I was part of the team who produced the first Manchester International Festival in 2007 including Il Tempo del Postino with Philippe Parreno, Hans Ulrich Obrist and the International Music series with PJ Harvey, The Fall,Leonard Cohen and transferred Rufus Wainwright’s opera Prima Donna to Sadler’s Wells. With Alex, I developed the international partnerships that supported MIF commissions including Massive Attack vs Adam Curtis (MIF/Ruhrtriennale/Park Avenue Armory), Brannagh's Macbeth (MIF/Park Avenue Armory), New Order + Liam Gillick (MIF/OGR/Wiener Festwochen) and the Jóhann Jóhannsson's First & Last Men (MIF/Barbican/Sydney Opera House for Vivid LIVE). I produced touring projects including Tree of Codes by Olafur Eliasson, Wayne McGregor and Jamie xx (MIF/Paris Opera Ballet/Park Avenue Armory/Aarhus 2017/Sadler's Wells/Faena Art) and Yael Bartana's What If Women Ruled the World (MIF/Aarhus 2017/Völksbuhne Berlin) with Artistic Director John McGrath.

I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities and experiences of working with this incredible team - the credits list is much longer than I can include here, but certainly including Alex Poots, Simon Mellor, Christine Cort, Ruth Mackenzie, the legendary Jack Thompson, Christine Gettins, Tracey Low, Kate Mackonochie, Anna Moutrey, Sam Collins, Shanti Freed, Cathy Gallagher, Nadja Coyne, Super Helen Gorton, Gemma Saunders, Rachel Down, Jen Cleary, Katie Vine, Hannah Clapham Clark, Janina Mundy, Jamie, Sophie, Phoebe … I’ll keep adding to this list ...
